Quick update on IGF v0.4 development
I’ve been quiet for the last week in the blog for two main reasons:
- I’ve been facing some personal issues that I needed to take care of. Nothing serious but time consuming stuff.
- I’ve been working a lot on the Game logic concepts & session abstraction for multiple network implementations as it is way more complicated than I initially thought.
I’m getting very close to the point 2. implementation being finalized but I still need to make a lot of tests to be sure it all works as expected. More to come on this topic in a future blog entry.
I also followed the Feature Requests and it seems that most of you are looking for new Post Processors for SunBurn. Since Daniel (the feature request initial requester) put a list of them in the same feature request, I decided to split them so that I can see which ones are really the most desired.
So, if you voted for one of them and still have votes for this month votes set, let me know which one is really important for you.
If you don’t have votes available for this month anymore, feel free to add a quick comment to this blog and I’ll take them into consideration.
Thanks for supporting the framework, it’s very appreciated

Hmm it looks like your Feature Request System is broken?
The Post Processor Feature Request is not Split, when switch the Page in the Feature Request System the new Page is blank and I can vote not every mounth but everytime i connect to your Website.
I noticed this with Chrome and Firefox
Hi Jeason,
I’m running Firefox and Chrome myself too and didn’t notice these issues.
Normally, when you hit either the top filters or page numbers at the bottom of the page, the ajax function should make th feature requests disappear and reappear with the new ones.
As for the voting system, it uses your IP address to enable or disable votes per month. Therefore, if you’re internet provider gives you a dynamic IP address each time you browse the web, you’ll be able to use your 10 votes.
I may correct the voting system by forcing people to be members of the website using a registration system but I don’t see much interest doing so.

Hey I assume you have most likely already seen my other post so I’ll just say here that It think motion blur and Depth of field are the best bang for buck with Ambient Occlusion and God rays coming a close second…
Best of luck with this brilliant endeavour.
Also your site looks wicked!!! Really Really Good.
Thanks Daniel. I would never thought this framework would gain so much attention but I’m really please to help.
I just thought that since I was working on a framework for my game, it would be cool if others could get a bit of the knowledge acquired using Xna and SunBurn.
I also hope that other developers will jump in and bring new features or improvements
As for the website note, I’m a professional web marketer/developer/designer so I even have more experience in this field.
